The Role
As a Locum Family Court Advisor within the Work After First Hearing team, you will play a key role in supporting the court to make safe and informed decisions for children and families. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking detailed safeguarding and welfare assessments
- Preparing Section 7 reports and analysis for court
- Working closely with families, legal professionals, and partner agencies
- Attending court hearings in person across London when required
- Providing clear, evidence-based recommendations focused on the best outcomes for children
While court attendance will usually be in person, there is significant flexibility to complete assessments and reports remotely, giving you the balance many locum professionals are looking for.
