A West London Borough is seeking experienced Social Workers to join their Duty & Assessment (D&A) Service. CVs are required as soon as possible due to urgent hiring needs.

The Offer

  • Rate: Up to £39.04 per hour
  • Contract: Ongoing, strong potential for long‑term extension
  • Start: Immediate or within a maximum 4‑week notice period
  • System: Mosaic
  • Equipment: Laptop and phone provided
  • Tools: Magic Notes and Copilot used within the service
  • Compliance: Must be fully DfE agency compliant

The Role

  • Work within a standard Duty & Assessment team, processing referrals from MASH through to ICPC
  • Manage a caseload of up to approximately 25 cases
  • Operate in a fast‑paced environment requiring confident decision‑making and strong assessment skills

Working Pattern

  • One week on duty (office‑based, 9‑5)
  • Followed by four weeks off duty with no mandatory office presence
  • Opportunity to build TOIL if workload is managed effectively

Service Highlights

  • Structured across 5 pods, with active hiring across 4
  • High‑demand service offering strong exposure and experience
  • Stable team with some agency staff in place for more than two years
  • No condensed hours available
