Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a rewarding locum role with Children and Families? Caritas Recruitment, as one of CAFCASS's trusted suppliers, is seeking two Locum Family Court Advisors to join CAFCASS in either Croydon or Grays Inn Road, Central London.
The Role:
As a Family Court Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare of children is at the heart of family court proceedings. This role is mostly remote, with in-person family meetings and court attendance required as needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice to courts on children's welfare in public and private law cases.
- Conducting risk assessments and recommending safe outcomes for children.
- Undertaking direct work with children and families to gather their views.
- Preparing high-quality court reports within required timescales.
- Engaging in multi-agency collaboration to support child safeguarding.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in frontline social work.
- Experience in public and private law proceedings, child protection, or court work.
- Strong report-writing and assessment skills.
- Ability to work remotely while attending in-person meetings when required.
