This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a committed multi-disciplinary team supporting adolescents at risk of child criminal exploitation (CCE), child sexual exploitation (CSE), serious youth violence, and other complex needs. πŸ”Ή Key Details: Job Title: Team Manager Cost Centre: C10298 CHOP Position Number: (Provided upon onboarding) Case Load: Managing a team of 7 Social Workers and 6 Adolescent Workers DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS Driving: Required Rate/Grade: Β£45.20 per hour Contract Length: August 2025 (TBC) to February 2025 Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday Working Model: Hybrid – Office-based 3 days/week (No change anticipated in next 3 months) Training/Certificates Required: Evidence of social work qualification and registration; any exploitation/youth violence-specific training desirable. πŸ”Ή Key Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and support a multidisciplinary team within the Adolescent Support Service. Oversee child-in-need, child protection, and looked-after children cases involving vulnerable adolescents. Chair strategy meetings, attend multi-agency panels (e.g., MACE), and provide oversight for complex safeguarding cases. Drive high-quality assessments, care planning, and interventions through a contextual safeguarding and trauma-informed lens. Monitor performance, maintain service standards, and contribute to quality assurance and service development activities. πŸ”Ή Essential Candidate Requirements: Strong knowledge of child exploitation (CCE/CSE) and serious youth violence.
