We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Child in Care Team in Lincolnshire.
This vital role involves supporting children and young people who are in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
As a Social Worker in our team, you will work collaboratively with families, foster carers, and other professionals to facilitate positive outcomes for children in challenging circumstances.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Building trusting relationships with children and families to promote engagement and support.
- Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups.
- Advocating for the rights and needs of children in care during meetings and court proceedings.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support and resources.
- The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families, particularly in a child protection or care context.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
