Join our dedicated First Response Team in Leicestershire as a Senior Social Worker on a part-time basis, working 18.5 hours per week.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of social work practice, responding to urgent situations and providing critical support to those in need.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Conducting thorough assessments of individuals and families in crisis.
- Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to address immediate needs.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support services.
- Providing guidance and supervision to junior staff and students.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational policies.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e. g., CQSW, Dip SW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- A minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience in social work, preferably in a front-line role.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a thorough understanding of safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
