Key responsibilities include
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs of individuals and families.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing expert guidance and supervision to junior social workers and support staff.
- Engaging with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and resources.
- Documenting casework accurately and maintaining up-to-date records in compliance with regulations.
- The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, Dip SW).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in a social work setting, particularly within crisis intervention or emergency response.
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage complex cases effectively.
