We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Mental Health Team in Leicestershire. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality support and intervention to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to promote the well-being and recovery of service users, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and resources to lead fulfilling lives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users' needs and developing tailored care plans.
- Providing ongoing support and interventions to individuals and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to coordinate effective service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
- Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance your professional development and the team's effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in adult social work, particularly in mental health settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
