We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Mental Health Team in the beautiful region of Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact in the lives of adults facing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support individuals in achieving their personal goals and improving their overall well-being.

Key responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' mental health needs.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with service users.
  • Providing direct support and interventions to promote recovery and independence.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers, community organizations, and families to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.

Essential qualifications and skills

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult social work, particularly within mental health settings.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to formulate effective care plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse service users.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in mental health care.

Additional requirements include a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
