Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' mental health needs.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with service users.
- Providing direct support and interventions to promote recovery and independence.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers, community organizations, and families to ensure holistic care.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.
Essential qualifications and skills
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in adult social work, particularly within mental health settings.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to formulate effective care plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse service users.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in mental health care.
Additional requirements include a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
