Caritas Recruitment is working in partnership with Cafcass to recruit 2 Agency Family Court Advisers (FCA) on a temporary basis, supporting services across Essex and Norfolk/Suffolk.

- Pay Rate: £36 per hour (standard supply rate only)

- Hours: 37 hours per week
The Role
As an Agency FCA, you will work with children and families involved in private law proceedings, providing high-quality analysis and recommendations to the Family Court. You will:
- Undertake safeguarding work and child-focused assessments
- Engage directly with children, ensuring their needs, wishes and feelings inform all recommendations
- Produce clear, analytical court reports
- Work collaboratively with parents, local authorities and partner agencies
- Contribute professional expertise to court processes
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Social Worker
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE)
- Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months via the submitting agency
- Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Desirable Criteria
- Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience
