We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Older Adults Mental Health team in Coventry.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults experiencing mental health challenges.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality assessments, interventions, and support tailored to the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of older adults' mental health needs.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Working closely with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to coordinate services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- A recognized social work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working with older adults in a mental health setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and families.
