Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Coventry as a Qualified Social Worker. In this vital role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing support to children and their families in need of assistance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and multi‑agency partners.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of cases, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance professional development.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A thorough understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
