As a Social Worker in Safeguarding, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and evaluating the needs of children and families to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Conducting home visits and maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
- Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access resources and services.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
