This is an excellent opportunity for experienced children's practitioners who are confident managing complex statutory caseloads and can demonstrate strong safeguarding, assessment, risk management and multi-agency practice. The role Role: Senior / Specialist Social Worker Service: Children & Families Location: Southwark, SE15 Rate: £39.04 per hour Umbrella Hours: 36 hours per week Hybrid working: 3 days office / 2 days remote Contract: Initial contract until March 2027 Vacancies: 2 Interview: Online, competency-based Interview date: 10 November What we're looking for To be considered, you will need: Current Social Work England registration Relevant post-qualifying experience within statutory children's social care Strong experience of safeguarding and managing complex cases Confident assessment, analysis and risk management skills Experience working effectively with children, families and partner agencies The ability to manage competing priorities within a busy statutory service Strong written and verbal communication skillsWith interviews being held online on 10 November, early applications are strongly encouraged.
