Children's SW - CWD Team - Barnet

We are seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Barnet. In this role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and various stakeholders to provide effective support and intervention, ensuring the best outcomes for children with disabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children with disabilities and their families.
• Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them navigate available resources and services.
• Collaborating with educational, health, and social care professionals to create a holistic support network.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with local policies and procedures.
• Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
