Caritas Recruitment is supporting North Somerset Council with the recruitment of experienced Children’s Safeguarding Social Workers to join their frontline safeguarding service. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified and experienced practitioners looking to work within a supportive local authority, managing safeguarding work that makes a genuine difference to children and families.
- Location: Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset
- Pay Rate: Up to £45 per hour
- Additional Incentive: Up to £100 per week travel contribution for candidates travelling into the area for work
- Hours: 37 hours per week
- Hybrid Working: Minimum 2 days per week in the office
- Visits: All statutory visits must be completed face-to-face

About the Role: You will be working within a Children’s Safeguarding Team undertaking a varied caseload, including Child in Need work and Child Protection planning and intervention.
