  • Supervising and supporting a team of social workers in the Family Support and Child Protection (FSCP) sector.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local policies while promoting the welfare of children and families.
  • Conducting regular team meetings and performance reviews to facilitate continuous professional development.
  • Collaborating with external agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance service delivery.
  • Managing complex cases and providing guidance on safeguarding issues, assessments, and intervention strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., Social Work England).
  • Significant post-qualification experience in children’s services, with a focus on FSCP.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative working.
