Caritas Futures is proud to partner with a leading charity that provides vital support to families affected by domestic violence. We are seeking a compassionate Children and Family Support Worker for a full‑time, temporary ongoing role based in New Malden.

Role Overview

As a Children and Family Support Worker, you will play an essential role in helping children and families recover from the effects of domestic violence. You will provide emotional and practical support, ensuring children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional and practical support to children who have experienced domestic violence.
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans for each child and family.
  • Monitor children's safety and well‑being, conducting risk assessments as required.
  • Work closely with schools, social workers, and other family services to ensure coordinated care.
  • Help children regain confidence, stability, and a sense of security.
  • Support families in accessing housing, social services, and other essential resources.

Essential Requirements

  • Current DBS on the update service, or willingness to undergo one.
  • Genuine commitment to safeguarding and supporting children affected by domestic violence.
  • Experience working with children in vulnerable situations, ideally in safeguarding or domestic violence contexts.
