About the role
As part of the MASH team, you’ll play a key role in screening referrals and making informed, timely decisions to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high‑quality safeguarding decisions in line with statutory guidance
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies to build a full picture of risk
- Supporting and supervising MASH Officers (MASHOs), offering guidance and oversight
- Contributing to team performance, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and KPIs
- Making informed recommendations to protect and improve outcomes for children
What we’re looking for
- Social Work England registered
- Post‑qualified experience within children’s services (ideally MASH/front door)
- Confident decision‑maker with strong safeguarding knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
