About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding role within a locality team covering the full spectrum of statutory children’s social work, including:
- Duty and assessment
- Child in Need (CIN)
- Child Protection (CP)
- Court work
- Permanence planning
You will manage a diverse caseload, working with children and families across the continuum, making informed decisions to safeguard and improve outcomes.
Team Structure
You will be part of a supportive and balanced team made up of:
- 2 Senior Practitioners
- 6 Social Workers
About You
- Social Work qualification and SWE registration
- Experience across safeguarding, CIN/CP, and court work
- Confident managing complex caseloads
- Strong assessment and report‑writing skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and multi‑agency environment
