About the Role
We are recruiting experienced & Qualified Social Workers to join the Cannock Children in Care Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people in the care of the Local Authority, ensuring their safety, stability and long-term outcomes. You will hold case responsibility for a number of children and work closely with families, carers and partner agencies to deliver high-quality, child-centred practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children in the care of the Local Authority
- Managing a caseload of Children in Care
- Working directly with children, families and carers to progress care plans
- Completing and updating assessments and care planning
- Working towards reunification with family where safe and appropriate
- Ensuring effective and timely statutory Children in Care reviews
- Acting in the best interests of children at all times
