About the Role

This role is for an experienced Child Protection Social Worker within the North Bristol area. You will play a pivotal role in supporting children and families across Children in Need (CiN), Child Protection (CP) and Court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertaking statutory duties for children and families in need or at risk of harm
  • Managing complex caseloads across CiN, CP and Court work
  • Working collaboratively with families to meet assessed needs and support robust safety planning
  • Facilitating meaningful change and implementing permanence plans when required
  • Working in partnership with multi-agency professionals
  • Driving positive, sustainable outcomes for children and families

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with significant post-qualifying experience in Child Protection
  • Driver with access to a car
  • Able to work on-site
