In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with individuals, families, and community organizations to provide comprehensive support services.
Your expertise will be essential in assessing the needs of clients, developing tailored intervention plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services that promote well-being and empowerment.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Providing direct support and counseling to clients in various settings, including homes and community centers.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate services and resources.
- Advocating for clients' rights and access to services, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Supervising and mentoring junior social workers and interns, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
- A recognized social work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with a relevant professional body (e. g., Social Work England).
- Proven experience in social work practice, particularly within community settings.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
