Join our Leaving Care Team in Bolton, where you will play a vital role in supporting young people as they transition to independent living.
We are currently seeking a qualified Social Worker to join us on a temporary basis at a competitive rate of £37 per hour (Umbrella).
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young individuals as they navigate this critical phase of their lives.
- As a Social Worker within the Leaving Care Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing tailored care plans for young people.
- Providing emotional and practical support to help young people achieve their goals.
- Working collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of care plans to ensure effective outcomes.
- Advocating on behalf of young people to ensure their voices are heard and their rights are upheld.
- The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with young people, particularly in a leaving care or similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
