We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Adult Social Worker to join a supportive and forward-thinking Community Social Work Team in Blackpool. In this role, you will work alongside adults to identify, understand and meet their support needs in ways that maximise independence, promote wellbeing and help prevent future needs from escalating. You will utilise strengths-based approaches, working collaboratively with community and voluntary sector organisations, reablement services and commissioned providers to achieve positive outcomes.

About the RoleAs a Community Social Worker, you will:
- Complete strengths-based assessments and person-centred support planning.
- Work with adults, families, carers and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Promote independence through the use of community resources, reablement services and commissioned support.
- Manage a varied caseload while maintaining high professional standards.
- Apply relevant legislation and statutory duties confidently within practice.
- Undertake safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments where appropriate.
- Use excellent communication and negotiation skills to advocate for individuals and achieve effective solutions.
You will:
- Be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Have experience within Adult Social Care community-based services.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Adult Social Care legislative frameworks, including the Care Act and associated legislation.
- Be confident working autonomously and making evidence-based decisions.
- Have excellent assessment, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Be committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- Share a passion for supporting the people and communities of Blackpool.
