Adult's SW - Safeguarding Team - Birmingham

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Birmingham, specializing in adult safeguarding. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and ensuring their safety and well-being. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to assess and manage risks, providing high-quality support and interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of safeguarding support.
• Developing and implementing tailored care plans to address individual needs.
• Collaborating with external agencies, families, and other professionals to ensure effective safeguarding measures are in place.
• Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Participating in safeguarding meetings and providing expert advice on best practices.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in adult safeguarding or related fields.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills with a thorough understanding of safeguarding legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
