You will lead a team of therapists, ensuring the effective implementation of therapy programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of our young clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify children's needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Leading and mentoring a team of occupational therapists, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure holistic care.
- Monitoring and evaluating therapy outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize client progress.
- Providing training and workshops for parents and caregivers to empower them in supporting their child's development.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Significant experience working with children in a therapeutic setting, with a strong understanding of child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing and developing a team.
