As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a complex caseload of children and families, ensuring their safety and well‑being.
- Conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and reviewing progress regularly.
- Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support to families.
- Providing guidance and supervision to junior staff and students, fostering their professional development.
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date case records in accordance with local and national standards.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection and working with children in need.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
