Agency Family Court Adviser – Work to First Hearing, Cafcass |Leicester, Lincoln or Peterborough

Hours: 37 per week
Caritas Recruitment, on behalf of Cafcass, is looking for an experienced Children\’s Social Worker to join as an Agency Family Court Adviser (FCA) within the Private Law teams.
The Role
You will:
Carry out assessments and work directly with children to ensure their wishes and feelings are heard and represented in court.
Apply your expertise in risk assessment and mediation to support safe, child-focused outcomes.
Advocate for arrangements that prioritise the best interests of the child.
Manage a demanding caseload with independence, resilience, and strong organisational skills.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Ideally 3+ years\’ experience in children & families social work.
Experience in Family Court proceedings and knowledge of Public Law.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
