The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Safeguarding Team. This pivotal role requires a compassionate professional committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to assess needs, develop care plans, and safeguard individuals at risk of harm.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of safeguarding interventions.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with service users and their families.
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in safeguarding meetings and contributing to strategy discussions.
  • Providing support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding issues.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team and manage a caseload.
