The London Borough of Ealing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Mental Health Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of adults experiencing mental health challenges. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality support and interventions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing the needs of individuals with mental health issues, developing and implementing person-centered care plans.
- Providing direct support and guidance to service users, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate comprehensive care.
- Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards.
- Participating in regular team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance professional development and team cohesion.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within adult mental health services, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
