As a Qualified Social Worker, you will have a range of key responsibilities, including:
- Conducting assessments to determine the needs of individuals and developing tailored support plans.
- Working collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes.
- Providing ongoing support and advocacy to adults with complex needs, including mental health issues, disabilities, and older adults.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
- Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance your professional development.
The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills including:
- A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working in adult social care, preferably within a locality team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
