We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's SW - Autism Team in Blackpool. This role is pivotal in supporting individuals with autism, ensuring they receive the necessary services and resources to lead fulfilling lives. You will work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including families, healthcare professionals, and community organizations, to promote the well-being and independence of our clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals with autism to identify their needs and preferences.
  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans that enhance the quality of life for clients.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients and their families, ensuring they are informed and empowered.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate access to services and resources.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience working with adults with autism or related conditions.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
