Adult's SW - Access Team - Redcar and Cleveland

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work Access Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that vulnerable adults receive the support and services they need to lead fulfilling lives. You will work collaboratively within a dynamic team to assess needs, develop care plans, and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals within our community.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of support and services.
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with service users and their families.
• Collaborating with external agencies, health professionals, and community organizations to facilitate holistic care.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national policies.
• Providing guidance and support to unqualified staff and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Significant experience in adult social work, particularly within assessment and safeguarding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
