Haringey’s Independence & Access Team is seeking a dedicated Adults Social Worker who is passionate about empowering adults to live safely, independently, and with dignity. What you’ll do:
- Carry out local assessment visits to understand needs, build trust, and co-produce clear support plans.
- Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and multidisciplinary partners to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Take part in a 4-week duty rota, spending that week office-based to support urgent cases, triage enquiries, and provide a responsive service to residents.
- Support adults with a wide spectrum of needs, including physical disabilities, long-term conditions, learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and safeguarding concerns.
- Use your professional judgement to complete assessments, reviews, risk plans, and safeguarding work in line with Care Act principles.

About you:
- You are a Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- Experienced in Adults Social Care.
- Confident completing Care Act assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and complex case work.
- Skilled at engaging with adults and families with empathy and professionalism.
- Able to balance autonomy with teamwork and contribute positively to the duty rota.
