Join our dedicated team as a Safeguarding Practitioner in the Adult Safeguarding Hub in Wokingham, where you will play a crucial role in protecting vulnerable adults and ensuring their safety and well-being. As a Safeguarding Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and investigations in response to safeguarding concerns.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement safeguarding plans.
- Providing expert advice and support to individuals, families, and professionals regarding safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all safeguarding activities and interventions.
- Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills in safeguarding practices.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in adult safeguarding, including knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in complex situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
