Join our dedicated Family Helps Team in Wokingham as a Children's Social Worker! We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual to support vulnerable children and families in our community. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families to assess their needs, develop tailored support plans, and ensure the safety and well-being of children. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing intervention plans in partnership with families and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a varied caseload.
