We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Partnership (MASH) Team in Woking, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to the safeguarding and well-being of children and families within our community. The position offers a competitive rate of £42 per hour (Umbrella) and provides a supportive and dynamic work environment.
As a Social Worker in the MASH Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks to children and families.
- Collaborating with various agencies, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a coordinated response to safeguarding concerns.
- Developing and implementing care plans that address the identified needs of children and families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with legal and statutory requirements.
- Providing support and guidance to families, promoting their resilience and independence.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience working within a child protection or safeguarding context.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.
- Proficient in assessment and analytical skills, with a sound understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
