Torbay Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work Project Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and developing tailored support plans.
- Providing direct support and intervention to adults facing complex challenges, including mental health issues, disabilities, and safeguarding concerns.
- Working closely with families, carers, and other stakeholders to promote positive outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with the Social Work England.
- Experience in adult social work, particularly in assessments and safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
