We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Adult Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Devon. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for adults facing various physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges. You will work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop tailored intervention plans that promote independence and improve overall well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and goals.
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy programs based on assessment findings.
- Monitoring and evaluating clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Providing education and support to clients and their families regarding therapeutic techniques and strategies.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience in adult occupational therapy, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
