We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Telford, offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour (umbrella). In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people. Your expertise will be essential in driving forward safeguarding initiatives and providing high-quality support to families in need.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of family situations to identify risks and protective factors.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans tailored to individual family needs.
- Providing supervision and guidance to social work practitioners, promoting best practices in safeguarding.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to family support.
- Engaging with families to empower them and facilitate positive changes in their circumstances.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding, particularly within a family context.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex family dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
- Proficient in case management and documentation, with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
