Are you an experienced social worker with a passion for family safeguarding? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in Swindon. In this role, you will play a vital part in protecting vulnerable children and supporting families in crisis. Your expertise will be essential in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to promote family resilience and safety.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
  • Building strong relationships with families, ensuring they feel supported and heard throughout the safeguarding process.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support and resources to families.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and family safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
