We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Early Help team in St Helens. This pivotal role involves working closely with families and children to provide support, guidance, and intervention to ensure their well-being and development. As a Social Worker in this dynamic environment, you will be instrumental in identifying needs, assessing situations, and delivering tailored services to promote positive outcomes for families in crisis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify strengths and areas of need.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and family support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals alike.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
