Redbridge Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Multi-Disciplinary Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify needs and risks within families and individuals.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
- Working closely with healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations to coordinate services.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, critical thinking, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment. Experience in child protection, mental health, or adult social care is highly desirable.
