We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Learning Disability Team in Haringey. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals with learning disabilities and their support networks.
- Developing and implementing personalized support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and educational institutions, to coordinate care and services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national policies.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and their families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
