Social worker- Family support and Safeguarding- Newham

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of families in need of support and safeguarding interventions.
• Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
• Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
• Monitoring and reviewing progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving family needs.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards.
• Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in family support and safeguarding, preferably within a local authority setting.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
