Your expertise will play a crucial role in developing and implementing care plans, conducting assessments, and providing ongoing support to children and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families, ensuring their needs are met.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
- Providing direct support and guidance to children in care, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within children’s services, particularly with children in care.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships with children and families.
