Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and strengths.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families, professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery and continuity of care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
