We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children in foster care. In this role, you will assess, support, and supervise foster placements, ensuring that children receive the best possible care and support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers and ensuring their suitability.
  • Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families, including regular visits and assessments.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans for children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in fostering.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in fostering or adoption settings.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with children and families.
