Wakefield Council is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join its Locality Child Protection Team based in Hemsworth on an initial 3-month contract.
In this role, you'll manage a complex caseload involving child protection, children in need, assessments and court work, working as part of a supportive locality team committed to achieving positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

What we're looking for:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Strong experience within Children's Services
- Child Protection and Court Work experience
- Ability to manage a complex caseload independently
- Excellent assessment and risk management skills
